More Simple Pleasures.......
The road to feeling myself again means finding pleasure in the simple things and what could be more uplifting to the soul than a walk in the park with Pippa and Lucy Labrador. It was a very cold and frosty start to the day here but now the skies are blue and the weak winter sun has melted the frost away. Lucy is eight this year, not that you would know, as far as she is concerned she is still a puppy, but she is as strong as an ox. She does enjoy a run around the park chasing her ball.

I agree totally, it is the simple things that hit the spot. Being on a farm we have a farm quad bike which I reckon you can't beat....not going fast but feeling the wind in your hair going across the fields and having great lung fulls of fresh air....it is so good for the soul....by the way, it is not quite the same when it is lashing with rain...my hubby wears glasses so doesn't suffer but I have to virtually shut my eyes so I can see through the rain, but then I can't really see anything!
